HR, Bookkeeping, and Business Services
HCL provides ongoing HR, bookkeeping, and business service implementation for HD Engineering & Design.
The HR support encompasses recruitment and selection, updating and creating employee agreements and legal documents, creation and rollout of company policies, managing the compensation structure, overseeing performance management, and training and development. Complete full-cycle recruitment and selection, through to onboarding employees. Update and maintain all company procedures, policies, and employee agreements. Overhaul and maintain the compensation, evaluation, and reward structure for the firm. Responsible for coordinating and administering benefits company-wide, including managing renewals, switching providers, and employee assistance. Direct performance management including reviews, feedback, documentation, meetings, succession planning, talent identification, discipline, improvement plans, and terminations. HCL also manages HD's safety program including ISNetworld, WCB, fit for duty, policies, procedures, assessments, and forms. We have trained HD managers and employees on how to navigate this system to ensure industry and client compliance as well as comprehension and understanding of how to work safely each day. Our HR professionals implement company strategy with a focus on ensuring human resource policy integration.
Bookkeeping support includes time tracking, reporting, invoicing, and payroll. HCL is responsible for entering and reporting in QuickBooks including weekly timesheets, biweekly payroll, monthly invoicing and expenses, and extracting project and financial reports. In addition to the ongoing support provided to HD, we have also created policy and process documents for bookkeeping tasks.
Business services include maintaining company insurance and licenses, creating marketing material, managing social media, formatting and aligning company documents, and benefit administration.
